PixEdit's DocServer functionality now supports a quick way to select multiple source and destination folders. Destination folders can now be specified, overriding the saving path specification in profiles. Even partly destroyed barcodes can now be read and decoded by PixEdit by checking "Filter barcodes" on the Separation tab in After Scanning. A problem has been found 7.8.12 in Acro, Smart thresholding. This problem will be fixed in the next upcoming revision (7.8.13). If your installation is affected by this bug, please change Acro to to Fixed thresholding and set the value to 128. August 21, 2008PixEdit 7 revision 7.8.10 has been released PixEdit now supports even more documents open at the same time, without running out of memory resources. Starting from version 7.8.10, you can have more documents open at the same time without making any changes to your computer. However, you can also increase the maximum number of open documents even further by using the methods below: Windows XP In boot.ini, append the following statement to your boot specification: /3GB. More information can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/system/platform/server/PAE/PAEmem.mspx Windows Vista Click the Start button, then type "CMD" and hit enter. The command line prompt should open. Then type "bcdedit /set increaseuserva 3072" These statements will allow PixEdit (as well as other applications) to allocate more memory if required. You need to reboot your computer before these statements take effect. In version 7.8.10, DocServer is faster than ever. This service release also contains several cosmetic and non-critical bug fixes.
