Coordinate system Occasionally, a precise drawing, plotted to size, is not sufficient to convey the desired information. You may therefore choose to define and use a coordinate system for your scanned document. You can define the real world length of a known digitized distance, or directly specifying the document scale (e.g. 1:33). You may also specify the coordinate system origin by defining the left and top edge offsets of the document. The defined scale is stored both in TIFF and TDF file formats for later use.
