Black Border Removal/Automatic Crop

Some scanners include a black border around each scanned page. PixEdit can use this information to automatically crop the page to the original paper size. You can also configure PixEdit to simply remmove the black border without page cropping. Both of these two options can also be executed automatically during scanning.

A very fast way of inspecting all pages (or a page range) for black borders is to use the Stack Image. Related functions: Automatic deskew, Remove Blank Pages, page splitting, page sorting, and page joining. As with most page functions in PixEdit, you can select the pages (or page ranges) to be processed by using the document tree, or record this action as a macro and play it back on multiple files.
